All KSES students will be reading at or above grade level by the end of 3rd grade with no regressions thereafter.
Welcome to all of the KSES Reading Wranglers!
It is going to be an exciting year here on the KSES Ranch. We are learning many interesting Old West Trivia. We are also enjoying all of the decorations around the school. The media center looks fantastic with the old west sunset mural. If you haven't seen it, be sure to check it out. Sherrif France, Deputy Sherrif Lamoreaux, and the Reading Posse have been busy lassoing reading wranglers. When the reading posse catch a bookaroo reading they ask them a question about what they are reading and then they become a reading wrangler and get a ticket to place in the boot in the office for a prize.
Keep reading and you never know when one of the posse may lasso you!
DIBELS -
We will again be administering DIBELS this year. This assessment gives us an idea of what area of reading we need to work with each student. The dates for assessment this year are: September 17 - October 1, January 26 - February 6, and April 30 - May 20.
